James Winder, MHA
Interim Chief Executive Officer
James was promoted to Interim CEO of Bayside Marin in April of 2024. He joined Bayside as the Program Director in January of 2021. Over the last year James helped to increase overall efficiency in the Program Operations and at times Supervised the Behavioral Health Associate department, Medical Records, Med Tech Department, Transportation, Maintenance, Housekeeping, Risk, Compliance, Operations and Medical Providers. James’s role recently expanded and he is now leading the leadership team at Azure Acres Recovery Center in addition to assisting at Bayside Marin.
Prior to joining Acadia Healthcare James gained experience as the Clinical Services Manager, Operations Manager and eventually the Executive Director at The Las Vegas Recovery Center in Las Vegas, NV. James also has extensive MAT treatment experience as he also was the Clinic Director of an Opioid Treatment Program in San Francisco, CA.
James holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), and recently has accepted admission into the University of San Francisco’s Master of Public Health Program and will begin pursuit of his second Master’s Degree in the Fall of 2022.
In his time away from work, James enjoys baseball, basketball, and football games and spending time with his wife and four teenage children.
