Extended Care Treatment Program

Extended Care

Extended Care is a treatment option available for clients who have completed primary care at Bayside Marin or another residential program. This level of care allows clients to remain in a safe and nurturing residential environment while transitioning back into their daily lives.

Physical, Psychological and/or Psychiatric Evaluations are not typically conducted in the Extended Care Program since many clients will be coming directly from another primary treatment facility. However, those evaluations are conducted when they are deemed clinically appropriate at an additional cost to the client.

Next Steps:

Our clinical intention is to pick up where Primary Treatment left off. Clients may participate in all program activities including group and individual therapy as deemed appropriate by client and staff. Extended Care clients will work on a treatment plan designed specifically to address the issues related to transitioning out of the treatment environment and back into their lives. Extended Care clients are encouraged and supported to go out into the community via day passes in order to integrate and practice their Recovery tools in real life situations. This is an excellent opportunity for clients to identify strengths and weaknesses in their Recovery Program and plan accordingly with the help of the clinical staff and their peers at Bayside Marin.

The fee for this level of care is discounted from the cost of residential treatment.
