Donny joined the Bayside Marin clinical team in September of 2024 as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. Donny works from a strength -based, trauma informed, and person-centered perspective. He works with each unique individual through a holistic lens, focusing on the interconnection between the psychological, behavioral, social and spiritual aspects of their human experience. He has a particular interest in integrating mindfulness practices into his clinical work.
Donny has worked in the school-based counseling setting, working at the high school and middle school levels, as well as in Outpatient Substance Use Programs. His varied experiences have created a rich foundation and familiarity with many therapeutic modalities including CBT, DBT, ACT, Internal Family Systems, and Addiction Counseling. His insatiable curiosity is leading him to learn more deeply about somatic psychology and the many connections between trauma and addiction.
Donny earned his MA in Counseling Psychology from Palo Alto University in 2021 and holds an undergraduate degree in Environmental Policy from UC Berkeley. In his spare time Donny enjoys exploring the outdoors – you might find him cycling, backpacking, climbing, or peak bagging.
