Vina Literato, RN
Nursing Manager
Vina joined Bayside Marin in 2019, was promoted to Charge Nurse in 2022, and currently serves as RN Nurse Manager for both Bayside Marin and Azure Acres. Born and raised in the Philippines, she later studied Management as a Commerce Major at Saint Louis University before moving to the U.S. in 2001. She began her nursing career in 2005 and has worked in a variety of settings including as a Geriatric and Medical Surgical Nurse, Pediatrics Nurse, and Behavioral and Psychiatric Nurse. From 2012-2017, she worked at the Department of Corrections and San Francisco General Hospital Psych ER.
In 2018, Vina began working as a Detox Specialist and has loved it ever since. She found her compassion working with individuals with dual diagnosis. Being a part of their journey towards recovery has given her countless rewards. It has given her enormous personal and career satisfaction to know she is part of a team that not only saves lives, but also families.
